Mint Energy’s leadership team is comprised of customer centric individuals with many years of industry knowledge whose mission is to provide our customers with optimized, high-value, energy solutions.

David Reinfeld
Mint Energy Co-Founder & CEO
David Reinfeld co-founded Mint in 2010 and currently serves as its CEO. Prior to Mint, David co-founded Patriot Energy, a national retail power and gas brokerage. David has also held positions at Enron Capital and Trade and Enron International, providing risk analysis for wholesale power transactions in PJM & NEPOOL and assistance in marketing and project finance in Latin America including development of a $500 million integrated power & gas investment in Brazil and Bolivia. Earlier in his career, David worked in Brussels as an advisor to the European Parliament’s chairman to the US Delegation covering economic and trade policy. David earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester and a Masters from Tuft’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.

Dan Schilens
Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Dan is leading the company’s sales and marketing efforts as well as Mint’s expansion into PJM. Previously, Dan was President of DPL Energy Resources (“DPLER”), a competitive retail energy supplier that served commercial and residential customers in the PJM service territory. During his 16 plus year career, Dan held many other leadership positions across the competitive energy and telecommunications industries.

Peter Duprey
Vice President of Supply and Portfolio Management
Peter focuses his industry knowledge and significant expertise in commodity markets, risk management and pricing/structuring to optimize Mint’s wholesale and retail supply procurement. He also spearheads Mint’s efforts to acquire and serve larger customers and aggregations, particularly those that require customized, multi-faceted electric supply arrangements. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and MIT’s Sloan School of Management.

John Allario
V.P. Finance and Risk
Previously, John was V.P. of Business Development and V.P. of Operations at Patriot Energy. Prior to Patriot, John worked at Sempra Energy Trading Corp, where he managed the company’s retail energy investment portfolio. Prior to Sempra, John held positions at Enron Corp. in credit management, power & gas marketing, and natural gas storage development.

Beverly Gaudet
Controller
Previously, Beverly was the Controller of Rounder Records LLC, a private music label company, where she was responsible for accounting and royalty departments and preparing the company’s financial statements.

Doug Denny-Brown
General Counsel and Chief Regulatory Officer
Previously, Doug was General Counsel and V.P. Regulatory Affairs at RNK Communications, Inc., a competitive telecom company acquired in 2007. Doug was also a hearing officer and senior policy analyst at the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities regulating utility companies for 9 years, and has worked in energy efficiency policy, and for a solar REC aggregator in Massachusetts.

John Kennedy
Director of Pricing and Risk Management
John is currently responsible for all customer pricing, supply and portfolio management. John has 18 years of experience in the energy industry covering a wide variety of roles. Prior to Mint Energy, John was the Strategy and Supply Director for the east coast for Blu LNG, a national developer of natural gas fueling stations for the heavy trucking industry and previously worked at EnerNOC and Constellation NewEnergy.

Patrizia Rinko
Senior Director of Operations & IT
Patrizia is currently managing the Retail Operations, Billing and Transaction management departments. Including IT and infrastructure support at Mint. Prior to Mint Patrizia was a Program Specialist for Edison Mission, managing production support for Risk and Operations. Previously, Patrizia was with Constellation NewEnergy for 10 years where her roles covered Retail Operations Manager, Retail Pricing Director and Director of Forecasting and IT for Retail systems.
